Celebrating 60 Years of Excellence in Nuclear Medicine
1966 – 2026

As we mark 60 years since the founding of our society, we’re proud to reflect on the role we've played in the development of nuclear medicine in the UK. Since 1966, we've worked to support healthcare professionals, drive innovation, and improve patient care through education, research, and advocacy.

This anniversary isn’t just about looking back—it’s about recognising the people who have shaped our field and helped us get to where we are today. It's also a chance to look ahead, together, at what's next.

Throughout the year, we’ll be hosting a range of events and activities to celebrate this milestone, culminating at the BNMS Spring Meeting 2026 at Manchester Central, 20–22 April.

Whether you've been involved from the early days or are just beginning your journey with us, we’d love for you to be part of this special year.
